Hello my sweets!

So I´m sitting here at work for what is my last workday until August. Even though I´m extremly happy about that, I am also kinda having a real crappy last few days. So close your eyes people for here comes a little rant ala me :)

So Im leaving for Manchester on thursday and then to Beirut from there in on the 7th. My tickets to Manchester are all in order and confirmed, but my damn tickets to Beirut are all f** up. (not my doing I promise you). The agency that I have booked through doesn`t seem to know what the hell they are doing because they keep sending me email after email about everything that is wrong with my ticket even though I have done exactly what they told me to. I´ve sent them copy after copy of both my passport and credit cards but now they say they never got anything (but lucky for me I´ve got proof that it has been sent and recieved), and now they are saying they might have to cancel the booking!! Bugger off!
But luckely my brother-in-law is taking care of everything. What a great guy!

If that is not enough my right had is totally f**ed. Got a air lump the size of a small plum sticking out of my wrist and it makes it impossible for me to have a grip on my beloved camera :( just great since im soon going on a photo trip to Lebanon. and it hurts like hell. Im suppose to operate on the hand but I´ve been waiting for it for 2 years so i don´t think it will happen anytime soon.



Sorry all for ranting on and on here :)

Hello my pretties!

My name is Linn Kristin but my friends call me Linken. Words that might decribe me are: friendly, rude, short, sarcastic, photographer, norwegian, traveler, linguist, music lover, swimmer, and many more.

I have aways had a fasination with photography but it was first in 2003 that I found myself deeply in love with this art type. That was when I finished High School and started taking Nature photography at a folkehøgskule in Sogndal, Norway. Folkehøgskule is a one year dorm school where there are no exams and where the student live and eat at the school.

After that year I didnt study any photgraphy because of the lack of good photography schools, instead I started taking a degree in Language with specializing in Japanese. That wasnt really anything for me so after studying it for 3 years I am now applying further study in photography somewhere in the UK; Plymouth, Portsmouth or Edinburgh.

I found DeviantArt through a friend of mine Merete (better known here as *Sommerfuglen ) My first 6 months here I didnt do much. Uploaded a few deviation and just browsed around. In the past I have only used film slr cameras so none of my photos where digital and it was a hassle uploading all the slides I have. But then I bought my beloved Canon EOS 400D ( I have named him Eskil) and I was hooked! I uploaded and uploaded, and I started to get really addicted to DA! and then I found DAmn.. and now I was really really hooked. So now I spend most of my internet time in here, writing journals, doing features, and spending a lot of time in either the *iPhotograph chat or the photographers chat [link] I am also one of the admins of the Norwegian club *ClubNorway
